“…Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen”.
Reflection:
Jesus died on the cross and was buried in a tomb. But, on the third day, he rose from the dead. This is called the Resurrection of Jesus. His body no longer lay, dead, in the tomb – He had risen! And He is alive and with us today.
Prayer:
Jesus, you rose from the dead and you have conquered death. Because of you we have been saved and redeemed and we can look forward with hope to a new life with God in heaven when we die. Lord Jesus, we thank you. Amen.
