Reflection:
God showed us his love for us when his beloved Son, Jesus, willingly laid down his life for us, suffering an agonising and ignominious death on the cross, in order that we may be saved.
Prayer:
Thank you Jesus for loving me so much that you willingly laid down your life for me. By your death and resurrection you have gained for us eternal life. Amen.
